HomeMy name is Connie Innes and I started Concentric Support Services (CSS) in 2001 because I wanted to provide a unique service to behavioral health practitioners who were practicing independently or desired to start a private practice. I did this by providing a suite with six offices where behavioral health practitioners could practice the amount of days they desired. I also provided a tenured administrative support which is required to practice successfully. This model lends itself to autonomy, balance, and camaraderie with other clinicians.
Prior to CSS, I was the business manager for seventeen years in a successful, larger psychiatric group practice in Scottsdale. I was actively involved in the many issues, challenges and changes that occur in the mental health world that affects running an efficient, productive, and profitable practice.
I am keenly aware of the important entire process that starts with; the scheduling and confirmation of an appointment, to the authorizations, insurance verifications and benefits, insurance claims filing, accounts receivable monitoring and the collection process from both insurance claims and patient co-pays. Filing insurance claims right the first time is key!
The process for filing mental health insurance claims has eased a great deal in the past years. Participating with insurance companies that provides referrals and a reasonable reimbursement fee is a valuable financial tool to assist in building a practice. In these challenging financial economic times, clients have difficulty paying fee for service, particularly if they have health insurance that they can utilize.
I have extensive experience with practice review and practice building. Projections and profitability reviews are extremely important to building and maintaining a profitable business. Analyzing where you are currently in your business productivity, setting goals on where you want to be, and then coming up with a realistic plan on how to get there, makes the process so much more palatable and easier to obtain. I attended the University of Phoenix in 1996 for four years to expand my knowledge in business management.
Our suite consists of six offices that all have large picture windows on the second floor. A common lobby, business office, and kitchen are available for all clinicians and their clients. Our tenured Affiliate behavioral health providers on site consist of three psychiatric nurse practitioners and five mental health counselors. These mental health providers participate with many health insurance plans. (Click here for the Affiliate information)
